How to make crab salad: 11 recipes

Salad with crab sticks in its popularity can compete with olivier, vinaigrette and Caesar. The dish is served at the festive table and consumed on weekdays. Traditionally, the salad is prepared on the basis of canned corn and crab meat. Components such as cucumber, rice, onions are added at will. There are many options for dishes, each person will find a recipe based on personal preferences.

How to make crab salad

Salad with crab meat and kiwi

  • table mustard (liquid consistency) - 55 gr.
  • crab meat - 330 gr.
  • Kiwi - 2.5-3 pcs.
  • chicken egg - 3 pcs.
  • fresh cucumbers (small size) - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise sauce - 140 gr.
  • canned corn - 0.25 kg.
  • feather green onions - 4 pcs.
  1. Defrost crab meat, allow excess water to drain. Then cut the product into slices (thin plates). Send to the salad bowl in the first layer.
  2. Boil a chicken egg, separate the proteins and chop them finely. Mash yolks with mayonnaise and mustard using a blender. Peel the kiwi, rinse to remove lint, chop into cubes.
  3. Rinse green onion feathers, chop in circles. Rinse the cucumbers, remove the vegetables from the tips, cut along. Then chop each half into slices. Drain the water from the corn.
  4. Mix all the components of the salad, laying the ingredients in layers. Pour mustard-mayonnaise sauce on each row. You can sprinkle the top with greens, cheese or grated egg yolk.

Fried Crab Stick Salad

  • mushrooms (preferably champignons) - 330 gr.
  • crab sticks - 0.35 kg.
  • vegetable oil - 60-80 ml.
  • turnip onions - 1 pc.

  1. Chop the onions in half rings, fry in oil until golden. Remove the finished product in a separate bowl, leave the oil.
  2. Chop the crab sticks in circles, send to the pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. When the product is fried, mix it with onions.
  3. Add to the main ingredients boiled quail eggs, cut in half. Separately chop the champignons along the leg, fry until volume is lost.
  4. Combine all the ingredients in a salad bowl, salt and pepper. Season with low fat mayonnaise (up to 30%). Put in the cold for half an hour, then taste.

Salad with pickled mushrooms and crab

  • crab sticks - 280-300 gr.
  • chicken egg - 3 pcs.
  • steamed rice - 120 gr.
  • mayonnaise sauce (for dressing) - in fact
  • chanterelle mushrooms (pickled in vinegar) - 230 gr.
  • grated cheese (hard) - 1 handful
  • greenfinch (any) - to your taste
  1. Discard the pickled mushrooms in a colander, rinse the water with a tap to remove any deposits. Then leave the remaining liquid to drain. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces, add a little vinegar (you can skip this step).
  2. Boil eggs, cool and clean. First cut into 2 parts, then chop into slices. Mix with mushrooms. Add chopped green onion, parsley and dill here.
  3. Boil the steamed rice until tender and dry a little on a sieve. Salt, send to the salad bowl. Grind crab sticks in a convenient way.
  4. Connect all the components. Optionally, add chopped fresh cucumber to the dish. Season the salad with mayonnaise, sprinkle with grated cheese.

Ham and Potato Crab Salad

  • potatoes - 280 gr.
  • crab meat - 280 gr.
  • lime juice - 25 ml.
  • champignons - 160 gr.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 3 pcs.
  • olives - 15 pcs.
  • greens (at the discretion) - 20-30 gr.
  • olive oil - in fact
  • ham or bacon - 0.1 kg.
  1. Rinse the mushrooms, cut them into slices along the legs. Fry in olive oil until volume is reduced. Cool and remove the remaining fat. Boil the potatoes, cut them into cubes.
  2. Free Bulgarian pepper from seeds, chop with a short straw. Defrost crab meat, cut it in random order.
  3. Drain the brine from the olives, if necessary, remove the seeds. Cut each fruit into 2 sections. Chop the green stuff, chop the bacon or ham with thin plates.
  4. Mix the listed ingredients, you can add fresh cucumber. Now prepare a salad dressing based on lime juice, olive oil, mayonnaise or sour cream, salt, ground pepper. Add the sauce, taste.

  • chicken meat - 330-350 gr.
  • crab sticks - 320 gr.
  • mayonnaise sauce (fat content up to 45%) - 180 gr.
  • any cheese - 90 gr.
  • cherry tomato - 150 gr.
  1. Remove the fillet from the films, boil the meat in lightly salted water until tender. Cool, transfer to a frying pan and fry in butter until crusted. Slice hot chicken, put in a salad bowl.
  2. Drain the brine from canned corn, partially dry the grains from the remaining liquid and add to the chicken. After rinsing, chop the onion feathers in circles, mix with the bulk.
  3. Thaw the crab sticks beforehand at room temperature. Then each instance is cut lengthwise, after which it is shredded in half slices.
  4. Salad cherry should be chopped into quarters or halves, judge by personal preference. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, season with mayonnaise, salt, and consume.

  1. Boil breasts and eggs separately, cool foods. Slice them, move to a salad bowl. Pour canned corn kernels here.
  2. Wash the tomatoes and chop each of them into 2 parts. Rinse the pepper, get rid of seeds, cut into bars. Grind greens, mix with mayonnaise, salt, pepper.
  3. Chop the crab meat arbitrarily, combine with the rest of the ingredients in the salad bowl. Chop onions with rings, fry and also add to the total mass.
  4. Now pass the garlic teeth through the press, add the pulp to the mayonnaise sauce. Season the salad with pouring, refrigerate for 20 minutes. Consume.

  1. Rinse the cucumber, chop it finely. Chop the greenfinch (parsley, onion, dill). Free the sweet pepper from the seeds, chop into strips.
  2. Drain the marinade from canned beans, leave the beans themselves in a colander to dry. After 10 minutes, send the beans to a salad bowl to the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Grind crab and mussel meat (if large). Make a dressing with mayonnaise sauce, ground white pepper, curry, butter, salt. Pour salad with this mixture, mix, treat your loved ones.

  1. If possible, use unpeeled shrimp, they are juicier after heat treatment. Boil the seafood in lightly salted water, cool.
  2. Rid canned corn from brine, sprinkle grains to shrimp. Boil eggs, if possible, take quail. Cut the product and mix with other ingredients.
  3. Grind crab sticks or meat, cucumbers. Make a sauce by combining liquid mustard (table) with mayonnaise, sour cream, spices and salt. Pour salad dressing, consume chilled.
  4. If you pour this salad with Caesar sauce, add crackers and Cherry tomatoes, you will get an interesting dish. Rice or peas are often added to foods.

Salad with crab meat and pineapple

  1. After washing, boil the rice until cooked and cool. Allow excess fluid to drain. Send the grains to the salad bowl first next. Place chopped onions on top.
  2. Peel the avocado from the peel and seeds, chop into small cubes (less than 1 cm.). Put in a second layer, pour mayonnaise and salt. Grind crab meat, cheese and fresh pineapple.
  3. Mix all the ingredients, prepare the main dressing. To do this, combine sour cream with the remains of mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper. Pour the salad, garnish with herbs, serve.

Crab Salad with Oranges

  • canned corn - 275 gr.
  • crab meat - 280 gr.
  • garlic cloves - 3 pcs.

  1. Boil the eggs, cool, grind with a special appliance or knife. Drain the marinade from a jar of corn, let the grains dry, add to the eggs.
  2. Chop the crab meat, pass the garlic teeth through the crush. Remove the orange peel from the orange and grate it. Cut the pulp into cubes.
  3. Combine the components of the salad in a deep bowl, season with low-fat mayonnaise. If you wish, you can provide the dish with fresh cucumber and greenfinch.
  4. Optionally, you can replace oranges with grapefruit, apples, fresh (!) Pineapples and other similar ingredients. Salad goes well with peanut sauce.
